Great Grandma is in town!!!

Great Grandma Ferne was in town last week. We had lots of fun hanging out with her and showing her how much I've grown since the last time she saw me. She was pretty impressed with my walking skills and all my toys. I love Great Grandma and can't wait to see her again over Christmas. We didn't do too much this past weekend as the weather was in the high 90's all week. Mom was working all weekend so me and dad were hanging out together all weekend. I've attached a couple pictures from the weekend. One of them is a picture of me on the neighbors "Green Machine", another is a picture of me looking at my baby pictures (I can't believe I was that small, I'm a big boy now though). Hope you all have a good week...
Love,

Happy 4th of July

Happy 4th of July everyone. What a fun weekend! I had so much fun this weekend that I wish every week was the 4th of July. On Thursday I went to my very first Rockies game. The baseball game was a blast! I got to eat all kinds of snacks and loved all the action of the ballgame. Dad took me to meet "Dinger" but I didn't like him very much. He's really scary looking! The game went extra innings but eventually the Rockies won. I fell asleep in the 9th inning so I missed the end but from what I did see it was a great game. After the game they had fireworks which was really cool to see. On Friday we went swimming with the Lang gang and then that night we went over to the Shaeffer's and watched Fireworks. All the neighbors were outside including Camryn, Jay and Ryan so I got to play with them all night. My babysitter Whitney even brought over my friends Grace-Anne and Ally so I had lots of fun playing with them and showing them my toys. I really like my new babysitter and my new friends Grace-Anne and Ally. That night we went up to the park and watched city fireworks. They were really cool (even better than the Rockies fireworks). By the end of the night I was beat. Back to back nights of staying up till midnight!! Saturday Mom and Dad took me over to Grandma's to watch the golf cart parade. I got to drive around all over the neighborhood in Grandpa's golf cart and had tons of fun. I love being at Grandma and Grandpa's, they let me do whatever I want!! Yesterday Grandpa and Great Grandma Ferne got back in town so they came over to see me. I was really excited to see them, especially Great Grandma cause I haven't saw her in a long time. This week will be fun as we'll be spending lots of time at Grandma and Grandpa's. Hope everyone had a great 4th...

My new Trike (June 22-June29)

All I need to say is thank you thank you thank you to Nana and Papa. They bought me a new trike a few weeks ago and it's the best toy ever! I'm not big enough yet to reach the pedals but Mom and Dad have been pushing me around each night in the neighborhood. I can't wait till I can reach the pedals so I can take off on my own. We haven't done too much this week, last Sunday I went swimming at Grandma and Granpa's pool and then Mom and Dad took me to our pool on Tuesday. I like swimming but I hate being splashed. Dad is the king of splashing me! This weekend Mom and Dad have another wedding to go to so I'm staying at Grandma and Grandpa's on Saturday. I can't wait!! Grandpa bought me a bunch of new toys so hopefully they'll let me play with them all night. I'm still not walking but Mom and Dad make me practice almost every night. I usually take about 3-4 steps and then fall because I get tired. One of these days I'll surprise them and start walking. I can do it but I'm going to get the most out of this crawling thing first. Once I walk for the first time there's no turning back to crawling so I'm going to milk this as long as I can. Talk to you all later.

My 1st Haircut

On Saturday Mom and Dad took me to get my very first haircut. My hair was getting really long and Mom and Dad thought I was starting to look like a little girl. I cried most of the haircut as I really don't like people touching my hair and neck but in the end I really like it. They had some pretty cool chairs that Nana would have liked. We spent the rest of the afternoon walking around Southlands and then went over to the Shaeffers for a camping trip in the backyard. I stayed up till 9pm and had lots of fun watching the fire and playing with Jay and Cameron. Today Grandma and Granpa are coming over and we're going to go swimming. I love swimming!!! See you later

Father's Day

This past weekend we celebrated Father's Day for Dad. He's leaving on Friday for Kirby's wedding in South Dakota so we decided to celebrate a week early. On Saturday me and Dad hung out most of the morning as Mom had to go into work. We spent lots of time outside as the weather was really nice. I really like this summer time thing but Mom and Dad keep putting this stupid hat on me so I don't get sunburned (Makes me look like a Fisherman). I'm getting closer and closer to trying to take those first steps but I'm still a little afraid of not holding onto anything. My Tonka truck has been a life-saver as I can hold onto that and push it around the neighborhood with worrying about falling. I did have my first experience with hitting my head on the concrete this weekend but I was ok (I'm tough). I thought Father's Day was for Dad but I found out this weekend that I get gifts too!!! Nana and Papa Berger bought me a car seat a few months back but I've been too small to fit into until now. I can't believe how much I enjoy the car rides now. I get to look straight out the car like Mom and Dad and I finally am feeling like a big boy. On Sunday Grandma and Grandpa Finch, Uncle Ryan and Katherine all came over for Dad's dinner. We had a good time hanging outside as the weather was nice out. Grandpa was making me laugh again with his funny stories and Uncle Ryan was flipping me upside down all afternoon. I always have fun when they come over. Dad flies out on Friday morning to Bismarck to see Nana and Papa and then leaves for South Dakota later that day. I wish I were going too because i really miss them but hopefully they'll be out later this summer and I can show them how much I've grown up. Have a fun weekend Dad and say hi to Nana and Papa for me..
